This tour runs from June to October every week from Saturday to Saturday.

After your individual arrival to Athens we will meet you at Athens airport on Saturday at 3 pm and transfer you to the port of Lavrio. From there you will take a ferry to the island of Kea, where our sailing yacht will be waiting for you (duration of the transfer: about 2 hours in total). Check-in on board starts from 5 pm.

Our trip has no fixed itinerary, as on a sailing boat we are dependent on the wind and weather conditions. We either head for the Cyclades or the islands in the Saronic Gulf. The latter are sheltered between the Greek mainland and the Peloponnese.

If the wind and weather are in our favour and we can sail to the Cyclades, where we visit 3 to 4 of the following islands: Kythnos, Syros, Mykonos, Tinos and Andros, depending on which direction has the most favourable sailing wind.

Should we choose the alternative tour to the Saronic Gulf, the islands of Aegina, Angistri, and Poros as well as some ports of the Peloponnese are on the program.

On the day of disembarkation, at 9 am you will take the ferry from Kea to Lavrio and from there we will continue by transfer to the airport in Athens. Individual journey home or extension of your vacation in Greece.

The size of the boats we use varies from 40 feet (3 cabins) to 50 feet (4 cabins), depending on the size of the group. You are welcome onboard even without any sailing experience: Skipper Elias not only takes you safely from port to port but is also happy to show you the basics of sailing.

A typical day on this trip looks like this: We start with breakfast on board, followed by a wonderful crossing with swim stops in hidden bays, enjoy yoga at a gorgeous spot and still have plenty of time to explore the island we have sailed to on our own.

The reviews we have received so far for this trip are unanimous: Sailing & Yoga is a perfect combination to achieve balance and deep relaxation. The only negative: even the most wonderful trip eventually comes to an end!

Sailing yacht (3 – 4 guest cabins)

On this trip we either take small sailing yachts like Ocean Star (42 or 52), Bavaria (42, 44 or 50), or Sun Odyssey (42, 45 or 47), depending on the size of the group. Our well-maintained sailing vessels are equipped with 3 to 4 guest cabins as well as a crew cabin.

Onboard there are 1-3 all-in-one bathrooms with shower/WC, depending on the size of the ship. In addition, there is a fully equipped kitchen and an outside shower. The following water sports equipment is available onboard free of charge: SUP, sea scooter, and kayak.

When can I do this tour?
This tour takes place from June to October every week from Saturday to Saturday. A minimum of 4 participants is required. A maximum of 8 people can take part in one trip.

How do I get to Kea Island?
On embarkation day, you will be picked up at 3 pm from Athens Airport and transferred to the port of Lavrio. From there you’ll take the ferry to the port of Korissia on Kea Island where our sailing yacht is awaiting you. On disembarkation day, you’ll take at 9 am the ferry from Kea to Lavrio and be transferred back to Athens Aiport.

The transfers between Athens airport and Lavrio as well as the ferry tickets to Kea and back are included in the tour price.

If you would like to stay in Athens before or after your trip, we will be happy to organize transfers between Athens city center and the port of Lavrio for a fee upon request.

What are the age requirements for this tour?
Young people aged 15 and over are welcome to join the tour if accompanied by one or both parents or guardians.

What language is this tour conducted in?
This tour is available exclusively in English.

What meals are included?
The tour price includes daily breakfast and light lunch. Special dietary requirements such as vegetarian or vegan food can be catered for if you let us know well in advance. Dinner can be enjoyed individually in local tavernas where you can sample the full range of Greek delicacies. Your skipper will be happy to make recommendations.

Can I sleep on deck?
Of course you can! If you plan to spend your nights under the stars, please bring your own sleeping bag.

Is there a chance I could get seasick?
If you decide to do this tour, you should have good sea legs. The Cyclades in particular are very susceptible to wind, so the boat may rock more during these crossings.

The crew provide tried and tested seasickness remedies on board, which will help make your trip easier if you do get seasick.

What should I bring on this tour?
We recommend that you bring as little as possible as space on a sailing yacht is limited. You should avoid hard-sided suitcases and instead use foldable bags or soft cases.

Below you will find a small list that you can use as a guideline for what to bring. You can, of course, modify this according to your own personal preferences.
