Arrival in Thessaloniki  | Individual journey to Thessaloniki Airport (SKG), where our guide meets you and brings you to the hotel. Afterwards we have a first meeting for a bike fitting followed by a short briefing about the tour days ahead.

In the evening, we enjoy dinner all together in a traditional restaurant, where you can experience the incredible cuisine for the first time.

Up to the highest summit in Thessaloniki (approx. 25 – 30 km / 15.5 – 18.5 mi. by bike) | We begin our day with a rich breakfast, the perfect start to our first day of biking! We take a transfer to the highest summit in Thessaloniki, at an altitude of 1,000 m / 3,280 ft. above sea level.

Challenging terrain and extra-long trails await us on our bike tour today. On our bike back to the city centre, we stop at some hidden culinary hotspots to taste various local delicacies.

Once back at the hotel, there is time to relax before the guide brings us to a restaurant particularly popular with the locals, and afterwards for those who would like, to a wonderful bar. But remember, there are still two days of biking ahead!

Flow Trails of Thessaloniki  | Today we also start with a transfer (45 minutes) to get to Oreokastro. The outskirts of Thessaloniki have an extensive network of trails, most of them super flowy.

There have been so many trails built here in the last few years that you could safely say it’s Greece’s first trail centre. Even if you prefer a more technical ride, you’ll get your money’s worth: enjoy the small jumps, curves, and drop-offs!

After the bike tour, we stop at a mini-brewery to enjoy the locally brewed beer together with delicious meze, Greek tapas. Afterwards, rest and relax at the hotel before enjoying the vibrant nightlife of Thessaloniki with a visit to a restaurant and a trip to some hip bars.

Thessaloniki’s Urban Trails | Unfortunately, it’s already the last day of our biking adventure. To ensure that you really experience all the various facets that Thessaloniki has to offer, today we bike along the urban trails of the metropolis.

The tour leads us first through the historic city centre to the suburban forest area of Seih Sou. From here, there are various routes to get to the top, from where we can enjoy breath-taking views of the Aegean Sea and if the weather is good, all the way to Mount Olympus. We finish off our diverse bike days along great trails that eventually lead us to the harbour.

Let’s celebrate the experience with a beer and exceptional tapas. Afterwards, we’ll take care of our bikes. We bring you to Thessaloniki Airport, according to your flight time. Please note that your return flight should depart from Thessaloniki at 5 pm at the earliest. Of course, you can also extend your urban break by one or more nights.

On our mountain bike tours, we only use high-quality, hardtail or fully, Scott Genius 950 MTBs. The standard equipment includes front shocks, disc brakes, and enough gears to cope with steeper climbs.
