This walk is a fantastic opportunity to get some exercise while exploring Athens away from the bustling crowds and with lesser-known yet just as breath-taking views. During this tour, which we run with a maximum of six participants, you can enjoy spectacular nature, visit the famous landmarks of the Greek capital, and enjoy incredible views of the whole of Athens and the Saronic Gulf from up high.

Reaching 277 m / 909 ft. above sea level, Lycabettus is the highest point in Athens. If the weather is clear, we enjoy a spectacular view out over the Saronic Gulf all the way to the island of Aegina! Enjoy exercising in the fresh air and being surrounded by nature!
We continue on foot past one of the world’s most popular sites and landmarks, the iconic Parthenon! Along the way, your guide points out the best photo spots and takes you on a journey through time by bringing the fascinating mythology and history of the Greek metropolis to life. They are of course always happy to answer any questions you may have!
The next highlight of our hike is the Hill of Areopagus, a prominent rocky outcrop located northwest of the Athenian Acropolis. In ancient times, this was the site of the Council of Nobles and the court that dealt predominantly with murder cases.
Directly below lies the ancient Agora – the heart of Athens during antiquity. Enjoy the view and gaze out over Athens from high above!
Lastly, we make our way to the Hill of the Nymphs. This small hill, just 100 m / 328 ft. in height, is located at the northern tip of the green expanse that forms the south-western section of the Acropolis.
